Emma

My sister has been pregnant for a good part of the last six years:

Georgia

Hamish

Isla

And here she was at about this time last year, 3 months after giving birth:

She might kill me for this one, I think it was actually taken by Georgia - hence the upwards angle, but it was seriously the only picture I could find where she didn't have a baby strapped to her. She is big into babywearing.

This was Emma about a month ago:

She is even smaller now, and has gone down 3 dress sizes since January, with the majority of the hard work being put in between August and now.
She is currently wearing the same size clothes as me!
(she bought some really nice dresses last week, so there could be some borrowing in the future!)
And she has triceps that I would kill for.

The reason I wanted to become a personal trainer, was to help people become fitter, healthier and happier.
And I think I have succeeded here.

But I can't take all the credit.
Emma has been walking when and where she can, doing fitness DVD's and jogging with her friend Lauren, in addition to being trained by me on Saturday's and going to the gym with me on Sunday's (she signed up two weeks ago, yay for having a workout buddy).

She has been using MyFitnessPal to track her calories in and out, and, like I was when I first started, was absolutely shocked to discover how easy it is to overeat when you have no idea how many calories are in the food you are eating.
Calorie counting isn't for everyone all the time, but it really is a good idea if you think you are eating a healthy diet, but can't figure out why you aren't losing weight. Weight loss has so much to do with the food you eat.

So anyway, the point of this post is to say:

I am so proud of you Emma :)
